Searching for a better normal

I've unburdened myself of many many things I thought I needed. Ok, not everything, but enough to really know how simple and intuitive life can be.
I'm itching to get back to work on a painting I began before life was paused. I've been reluctant to head down to my studio. I don't know why. It's "safe" there for a compromised individual such as myself.
Perhaps the real reason is that I'm not sure what I have to say is important anymore. I'm trying to press ahead and do marketing and the like, but, introvert that I am, I'm finding that exercise most difficult.
All I can do is keep going. Keep growing. Working more intuitively, with more trust. Here's the painting I want to get back to. It started with random primary colors. The underpainting was applied quickly with no forethought. Then I started to see what was there and began developing an image. It's a new way of working for me, inspired by the artist Mel McCuddin. I just paint. I don't worry about what others think. Sometimes the paintings are silly, sometimes dark. I don't know where this one is going yet .....
